He has arrived!!! For the short version of the story, we had a sweet little boy on Thursday, August 28th. (on his due date) After laboring all day long, I reached 9 cm and we found out that the umbilical cord was around his neck and he was turned the wrong way! So after 18 hours of labor, I ended up having an emergency C-section due to his quickly decreasing heart rate. So he was born in less than 2 minutes on Thursday evening!! CRAZY experience!!
So here we are almost a week later and we are doing great! Eli weighed 6 lbs 1 oz when he was born and today at the doctor he weighed 6 lbs and 7 ozs!!!! So he is a growing little boy! I am sorry i don't have any pictures to attached, but please look at here for updated pictures. (even one from this afternoon before the dr's appt.)
