This past weekend, we were totally blessed by an awesome baby shower given for us!!! I could not believe how much stuff we received and I think that if our little boy comes tomorrow we would be able to survive for a long time!! (Except legally bring him home from the hospital!) It was a little bit weird at the shower because I am such the picture taker (Joanna & Kelly call me Patty the picture taker) and I wasn't able to take pictures during the event. So my mom took some great pictures and of course Madelyn was a huge help in opening the presents!

Our new hobby

I have had a hobby for many years that not many people know about...I LOVE watching or listening to every possible Atlanta Braves game, including the pre-game show on the radio. As I went to the beach this summer with the girls, I realized that even my closest of friends had no clue that I love the Braves this much. I could quote batting averages of certain players or list players who are in a hitting slump and even tell you about the latest struggles of our bullpen. Daniel and I have made it a nightly ritual of watching Baseball tonight on ESPN and I am pretty much hooked. Isn't that funny!! I will admit that we do not attend many home games and to be honest we have only been to ONE Braves game together in the entire 6 years that we have known each other. However, there is nothing like listening to the Bravos on the radio and the play-by-play action that goes along with it. So do you have a hobby that no one knows about or that the even your closest friends have no clue that you are obsessed about? Just wondering. So here are is a picture of the Tritt's first trip to a Braves game. (It was actually an exhibition game at the beginning of this season!)

The Wedding Singer

This past weekend Daniel had the chance to be an official wedding singer! After 2 months of preparation, Daniel's wedding singing debut occurred. Here are a few pictures that showed the highlights of the wedding. (Note: When I call Daniel a wedding singer, I really mean it! He didn't just sing 2 songs...he sang FIVE songs.)

Our two favorite neices....

I have found that that are times in my life when I have obsessed over things that may or may not seem important. HOWEVER, that completely changed when my two neices came into the world. They are so awesome and we both enjoy spending time with them. We can only imagine what will happen when our little boy comes along. How amazing will that be!!!!!!! We can't wait!!!

So for your viewing pleasure...here are the two infamous neices...Madelyn (21 months) and Molly (almost 6 months).

What's in a name?

I have been pondering over a name for a blog for a long time. At first when i started thinking about a blog, it was going to be "five red lights and a hunting dog." However, since that time, our town has added 2 more red lights! And if you know anything about us, you will know that it's kind of obvious that my husband is obsessed with our German Short-Haired Pointer, Miss Priss. So there it is, the meaning behind the name of the Tritt Blog!

It's Official!!!!!!!!!!!

We have started a blog! After months and months of stalking other peoples blogs, we have finally started one of our own. I would like to list several disclaimers before entering the blogging world.
1. Please do not expect our blog to be updated on a DAILY basis! We will be doing good to update once a week.
2. You are more than welcome to leave comments, questions or concerns.
3. We are way pumped about the soon-to-be new addition to our family. Yes, I am 28 weeks pregnant and our new little one will be the featured person of the blog at the end of August.
