Wild Adventures with Eli

Eli has started to pull up and stand every moment that he can. Here he is trying to pull the car seat off of the couch. He looks so long in the pictures!!! My baby is growing up!

Eli's thought-"Daddy I just want to see what is inside the carseat!! PLEASE!!"

Because of Eli's crawling and adventure skills, we have had to "baby-proof" the living room by placing the ottoman between the recliner and couch as a blocking device. Well the other day Eli discovered how to "get out." So I took some pictures of his attempt....
"That mama can't trick me...."

"I must take a rest, this is pretty tough work..."

Almost there....."I did it...I made it!!! HOME FREE.....now what can I get into in the kitchen"

A first and a last...

Eli has just recently decided to start sitting up. Below you will see several pictures from the official sitting up session. He just sat on the floor for awhile without falling over or leaning against anything. (He normally just falls over!) Getting ready to crawl....:)

Above you will see the last picture session time in the bouncy seat. It sure has been a fun chair, but this last time of taking pictures in it, all Eli wanted to do was climb out of it. So, we will return it to the neighbors since they will be needing it soon! :)

New Fun Hobby

In the pictures below you will find that Daniel has convinced me to have a new hobby!!! It is so much fun shooting at the targets in the yard. I am not that good, but it's fun. Note: I am left-handed that is why I am standing the opposite way that Daniel is.Who is the dork in the green hat???

Eli and his valentine skills

You may not know it, but Eli is quite the writer. We decided to write very heart-felt valentines the other day. Let's see how it went.... Pondering what to write.... (the paci helps the thinking process)
